YOUNG TRAWLER BOYS LOOKING TO SIGN OFF THE SEASON ON A HIGH!
The young Trawler Boys will be looking to bounce back from a very demanding spell in which they have lost 5-4 consecutively on the road to Billericay Town and Romford FC. The Blues have their final game of the season this Wednesday at home to title chasing Chelmsford City FC. The squad will see a few changes due to fixture clashes with the Lowestoft Reserves playing on the same day. They will be coming up against a well oiled outfit in Chelmsford who beat the Blues 2-0 at Moulsham High School earlier on in the season. As the table currently stands, Lowestoft are currently 17pts behind Chelmsford and will be focusing on picking up points to remain where they currently stand in the table.
CHELMSFORD CITY FC
Chelmsford currently sit second in the National Youth Alliance League Division A table with a game in hand on leaders West Ham. They will have full belief that they can win the title come the end of the season. Last season they ended mid-table with a lot of players in their first year of the programme. This season they have progressed into one of the best sides in the division, keeping neck and neck with West Ham and Barking all season at the top. Chelmsford danger men Harrison Perrin and Taylor Legg, will be looking to add to their combination of 21 goals this Wednesday.
RECENT FORM
Looking over the last six games, Lowestoft sit seventh in form table with two wins, two draws and two defeats. They go into the game underdogs with Chelmsford top of the form table, winning four and losing two. Both teams have had good victories of late with Lowestoft beating Dagenham & Redbridge twice. Chelmsford have overcome Barking, Dagenham & Redbridge & Bishop's Stortford twice in that time.
