YOUNG TRAWLER BOYS TRAVEL TO BILLERICAY LOOKING TO MAKE IT SEVEN UNBEATEN.
After an excellent victory and performance away at Dagenham & Redbridge last week, the blues are looking to add to their points tally when they travel to Billericay on Wednesday. This will be the third consecutive away game for the Trawler Boys who are in fine form and making good progressions as each week goes on. They will be coming up against a well organised Billericay Town who beat the blues 4-2 at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium earlier on in the season. As the table currently stands, Lowestoft are just three points behind Billericay and with a victory could draw level with them and Bishop's Stortford.
BILLERICAY TOWN FC
Billericay currently sit sixth in the National Youth Alliance League Division A table with hopes of still gaining a top four spot come the end of the season. Last season they came runners up in the league, missing out on the final day to West Ham United. With some inconsistent results this season halting the champions push, they have still shown they can beat the best, with a victory away at Chelmsford being a standout. Billericay danger man Bobby Kelman, who netted a brace in the reverse fixture with Lowestoft, will be looking to add to his ten goals for the season this Wednesday.
RECENT FORM
Looking over the last six games, Lowestoft sit third in form table with three wins and three draws. They go into the game off slightly better form with Billericay winning three and losing three. Both teams have had good victories of late with Lowestoft beating Dagenham & Redbridge twice alongside Barking away. Billericay have overcome Dagenham & Redbridge, Norwich City & Bishop's Stortford in that time.
