The Young Blues faced Wroxham U18's in the Preliminary Round of the FA Youth Cup two weeks ago. This was the first competitive game for the group after a good Pre-Season. The contest started even before Lowestoft grabbed the opener through Sam Aldous. The Trawlerboys began to dominate from there adding a further three goals in the first half from Luca Upton x1 and Sam Aldous x2. HALF TIME 4-0. In the second half Luca and Sam added further goals to their tallies before Wroxham added two consolation goals late on. FULL TIME 6-2. An excellent display from the whole team which saw them cruise into the next round.

Lowestoft Town U18's face a strong Ipswich Wanderers U18's tomorrow night at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium. Ipswich Wanderers come into the fixture off a 6-2 victory against Ely City in the previous round. Ipswich Wanderers also compete in the Thurlow Nunn U18 division having won one and lost one so far this season. The young Trawlerboys have been working hard in training over the last week to best prepare for the challenge.
