VACANCY | Trawlerboys seek new Chair Person

Gary Keyzor18 Oct - 10:28

Can you help lead the next chapter of our iconic club

Lowestoft Town FC – Suffolk’s most historic non-league football club – is seeking a new Chair person to help shape the next phase of its proud journey.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role at a club with deep roots in the community, a strong academy and scholarship partnership, a newly formed ladies team, reserves, and a respected Centre of Excellence.

We are embarking on a period of restructuring, regeneration and opportunity, with the creation of a new Community Trust (CIO status pending) and a renewed focus on youth development, partnerships, and sustainability – on and off the pitch.

We are looking for:
• A passionate leader ready to represent and inspire across all levels of the
club.
• Someone with vision – to help modernise and future-proof the club while
respecting its heritage.
• A strong collaborator or group that can work with trustees, staff, volunteers,
players and supporters.
• A proactive thinker – not afraid to contribute time, ideas, contacts, or
resources toward the club’s shared goals.
• A genuine belief in the power of community sport, youth development, and
inclusive football.

Whether you are an experienced sports executive, a local businessperson, former professional, or someone who simply wants to leave a meaningful legacy in football – we’d love to speak with you.

The role is voluntary, though with real influence, visibility, and the potential to shape a true community asset.

To express interest or request a confidential conversation please kindly contact interim Colin Easton on 07394 232941 or by email: chairman@lowestofttownfc.co.uk

Deadline for expressions of interest: 30th November 2025
