Fowkes, 19, returns to Lowestoft for his second spell at the club, having been around during the 2015/2016 season while dually registered with Diss Town. His goal against the Ipswich Town U23s in Wednesday's pre-season friendly helped the Trawlerboys earn a very respectable 1-1 draw and manager Jamie Godbold is delighted with his new addition to the squa.
Godbold said 'Ben has come in and impressed over pre-season, quickly becoming a favourite with the supporters. He provides an element of unpredictability, is good on the ball and exciting to watch. We've been really pleased with his work ethic and his desire to learn and we look forward to seeing him progress throughout the season'.
On joining the club, Fowkes said 'I'm delighted to be signing for Lowestoft Town. It's a great club and I'm looking forward to the challenge. I can't wait for what I'm sure will be a very successful season and will do all I can to help contribute to the team'
While Fowkes has signed, the club says goodbye and wishes all the best for the future to Jake-Chambers Shaw, who has left Lowestoft Town due to travel struggles.
