With The Trawlerboys set to be in Southern League Premier Central Division action on Saturday, November 23, an early morning pitch inspection is planned.

Lowestoft are set to host sixth placed Stamford at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium (3pm KO) tomorrow.

But with the Met Office warning of strong winds and disruptive weather over the weekend - which could affect coastal towns such as Lowestoft - with gusts of up to 60mph that could reach around 48mph inland - a "precautionary" pitch inspection is planned on Saturday morning.

A club spokesman said: "With a freezing night forecast and heavy rain tomorrow, a precautionary pitch inspection is planned at 9.15am tomorrow morning."
