Officials at Lowestoft Town FC have expressed delight as we welcome back Buster Honeywood to the club.

The former Scholar has signed a short term deal with Lowestoft while he is back home from America.

Buster has been plying his trade at Bellevue University in the USA since leaving the club's full time education programme.

He has been an integral part of the successful season that Bellevue have just had - where they reached the quarter final of the nationals.

Buster plays alongside former Blues youngster Fletcher Hedge at Bellevue, while many of the club's former graduates are currently in the USA as well.

Blues boss Andy Reynolds said: "It’s great to have Buster with us until mid January.

"It’s an area of the pitch where we need people at the minute and when they know the club and some players already then that helps a lot.

"Buster has a great temperament and attitude and will be an asset for sure.

"It’s important we keep these connections with the lads who go to America for when and if they return we may be able to reconnect and benefit from their new experiences gained."
