Throughout the season, different Lowestoft players will be quizzed on all their favourite things. This week, Josh Greenleaf steps into the hot seat.

Food?
Chicken Curry Korma, I’ve always liked it.

Film?
Remember the Titans with Denzel Washington.

Actor/Actress?
Denzel Washington. He’s got lots of different style of films.

Pre-match ritual?
Always step on the pitch with my right foot. Even if I’m running off the pitch, it’s always got to be with my right foot.

Celebration?
I don’t really have one. But against Needham, I ran over to Ady.

(Was that just adrenalin from scoring an important goal?)

No, I was actually meant to run over to Cruise but Ady got in the way! Cruise had told me that I was going to come on and score so I was meant to go to him.

Hobby away from football?
Going to the gym and playing golf. I do like going up the driving range and I go there quite a bit.

Holiday destination?
Jamaica. I’ve been there a few times and it’s a beautiful country. I get a bit burnt but it’s worth it.

Team?
West Ham. I’ve only recently started supporting a team and I just chose West Ham. Not sure why but I never supported a team growing up.

Moment in football so far?
Reaching the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup with Met Police against Wolves but unfortunately, we got beat 5-0. I played at Burnley at Turf Moor when we beat Yeovil and that was a good experience.

All-time player?
Cristiano Ronaldo. Just because he’s a goal scorer so it’s someone to look up to.

(You trying to be as good as him?)
That’s what I’m working towards!

Lowestoft teammate and why?
Probably Ollie Humphrey. We both joined at the same time and he puts in some good balls. But I like Cruisey and Freddie Westlake loads too. I have good banter with them and are my closest teammates.

(If you had to pick just one?)
Cruise. He’s a good lad.

Thing about playing for Lowestoft?

It’s a good club to be around. The fans all talk to you, take an interest and know you. No one’s a stranger and I think it’s a really good thing.
