Lowestoft Town manager Jamie Godbold said his players will be treating "every game as a cup final" as they approach the final couple of months of the season.
The Trawlerboys remain three points clear at the top of the Pitching In Isthmian League North Division with a game in hand of their closest rivals, second placed Felixstowe & Walton United.
After East Thurrock United folded before Christmas and the club's playing record was expunged leaving a 19-team division, it means that Lowestoft have just 12 league games remaining between now and April 27.
Five of those games will be home, and seven away, starting with a tough trip to Bowers & Pitsea tomorrow.
After passing a morning pitch inspection last Saturday, Lowestoft were dominant in a 2-0 home win over Enfield.
The Blues had to however wait until the 59th minute to break the deadlock, with the league's joint leading goalscorer Jake Reed hitting his 21st league goal and 26th goal in all competitions thus far this season.
Adam Hipperson then added a second in injury time as The Trawlerboys sealed a comfortable win.
Reflecting on the win, Blues boss Jamie Godbold said: "I think we made hard work of it.
"We got the three points in the end against a stubborn outfit, who had their goalkeeper to thank and poor finishing on our behalf for not making it a greater margin of victory - but we got the job done and sealed the three points to maintain our position."
The second placed Seasiders however closed the gap on leaders Lowestoft to three points with victory on Tuesday night - although Jamie Godbold's men now have a game in hand.
Fourth placed Bowers & Pitsea are 10 points behind The Trawlerboys, after drawing 1-1 with Gorleston last weekend.
Blues boss Godbold is expecting a tough encounter with the Essex side, who play on a 3G pitch at the Len Salmon Stadium in Pitsea, tomorrow ahead of hosting Redbridge on February 24 and the rearranged derby match away at Ipswich Wanderers on February 27.
Godbold said: "Owen Murphy will be back this Saturday but I don't think Charlie Norman will be available as he has been struggling with a thigh injury over the last few weeks and he needs a rest.
"First and foremost all away games will be tough, but Bowers & Pitsea is a particularly tough place to go.
"They are fourth in the league, a strong side who are in a good position with the games remaining.
"Every game will be a cup final for us.
"We will go there expecting a tough game, and the focus will be on this next game - we can't look too far ahead.
"The focus is on Bowers & Pitsea - it may be very cliché, but we are taking it one game at a time as we look at the situation right in front of us.
"As with any game we face, we know teams can cause you problems and it is about how we solve them on the day.
"We will concentrate on us first and foremost and approach the game with the right attitude.
"Sam Johnson will come back in for the run in, and will be like a new signing for us."
