Brown has played three pre-season games for the Trawlerboys so far, while Pinheiro made his first appearance off the bench against Norwich United. The pair become Jamie Godbold's tenth and eleventh signings since becoming manager of the club, with Ben Fowkes and Ish Fatadjo the latest to link up after also impressing in pre-season.

Godbold said 'I know Matty really well from him playing with me at Kirkley and am well aware of his attributes. I've always felt he could play at a higher level and think this opportunity comes at a good time for both club and player. He fits well into the system and the way we want to play and is a good lad to have in the dressing room'.

'Dan is one of the players who excelled in the Norfolk County U18 last year and he has done well enough in pre-season for us to want to see a lot more of him. He has a great attitude and is a very quick learner so will develop quickly playing and training with better players'.
