Lowestoft Town will be looking to finish November in style at home tomorrow after a hectic month of action.
The Trawlerboys have collected 11 points from their past seven Pitching In Isthmian League North Division matches in November - following three wins, two defeats and two draws.
The week's action had started badly in treacherous conditions last Saturday as Lowestoft suffered the blues with an away day defeat.
The trip to Colchester to face Brightlingsea Regent, who were previously in 15th place and six points behind Lowestoft with three games in hand, saw Andy Reynolds' men suffer a 4-1 defeat following two goals in either half from the home side.
Sub Gabe Overton hit an 81st minute consolation for The Trawlerboys just nine minutes after he had been introduced from the bench.
Defeat meant Lowestoft slipped to 12th in the table, as Brightlingsea moved up to 14th.
On Tuesday evening at Crown Meadow Lowestoft hosted second placed Maldon & Tiptree in an eagerly awaited clash.
The Essex-based visitors - managed by former Needham Market boss Kevin Horlock - included a wealth of Football League experience in their squad with former Colchester defender Tom Eastman and strikers Freddie Sears and Macauley Bonne all featuring.
Former Trawlerboys midfielder Dylan Williams also made a welcome return to Crown Meadow with The Jammers.
Deadlocked at 0-0 at half time, Lowestoft took a 62nd minute lead when they broke quickly following a set piece for the visitors as a fine through ball found Gabe Overton who slotted past the keeper for his second goal in successive matches.
But The Jammers equalised five minutes later as Lewis turned a defender in the box and squeezed a shot home.
The visitors threw men forward in the search for a winner, but The Trawlerboys were strong in holding out with keeper Ben Self making some fine saves as it ended 1-1, meaning Lowestoft remain in 12th.
Lowestoft entertain 10th placed Cambridge City - who are a point ahead of The Trawlerboys with a game in hand - at Crown Meadow tomorrow (Saturday, November 29).
The Lilywhites - under the guidance of former Trawlerboys players Mickey Spillane, who is manager, and assistant manager Danny Crow - have been on a superb run of form that has seen them win six out of their past seven league games as they remain unbeaten since a 2-0 defeat at Maldon & Tiptree on October 14.
After tomorrow's game just three league matches follow in December.
Lowestoft are without a game next week, and are not back in action until a trip away to Newmarket Town on December 13.
Following this league match with The Jockeys - who are currently ninth, a point ahead of Lowestoft with three matches in hand - another away game follows on Saturday, December 20 away at 20th placed Takeley.
December's action then concludes with a festive treat - as a mouthwatering all-Suffolk derby awaits on Saturday, December 27.
The Trawlerboys will host table topping Felixstowe & Walton United (3pm KO) at Crown Meadow just two days after Christmas Day.
Five league matches are then currently scheduled for January - starting away at Norfolk rivals Wroxham on Saturday, January 3.
