The eagerly-awaited fixtures for the 2024/25 Pitching In Southern League Premier Central division have been announced - with Lowestoft set to return to Step 3 football with five games in 16 days in the opening month.

The Trawlerboys will start the new league season on August 10 with an opening day home clash at the Fosters Solictors Community Stadium as Jamie Godbold's men host a Redditch United outfit who made the play-offs last term.

This is quickly followed by a Monday night league fixture - with a visit to St Ives Town on August 12 ahead of a first weekend away day at Barwell FC on August 17.

A first Suffolk derby of the new campaign will be contested inside the opening month - as rivalries are renewed with a trip to AFC Sudbury on bank holiday Monday, August 26.

After five league fixtures in August, cup action is likely to intersperse a busy start to the new campaign in September and October when eight league games are still scheduled.

Other highlights include a Boxing Day all-Suffolk derby at Leiston on December 26, with the reverse derby matches taking place at the Fosters Solictors Community Stadium on January 1 - as AFC Sudbury are the visitors on New Year's Day - before the penultimate league game of the season is scheduled to see Leiston hit town on Monday, April 21.

The final league fixture is scheduled for April 26, 2025 away at Alvechurch.
