Lowestoft Town FC is delighted to confirm the appointment of Rob Eagle as Player / Manager.
Chairman Iain Small said, "Rob stepped in to the role on an interim basis last season, and successfully secured our status in the league.
Finishing the season as the top form team over the last six fixtures was a fantastic achievement, and Rob has brought a really positive influence to the squad both on and off the pitch.
Everyone at the club wishes Rob well in his new role, and we can now start planning the strategy for a fresh start to the new season. Well done Eags!"
Speaking on his appointment, Rob said:
"It’s an absolute pleasure to be named manager at Lowestoft Town Football Club. I didn’t expect it to come this early in my career, but I’m ready for the challenge and proud of what we’ve achieved so far.
I’ve really enjoyed the role and I’m looking forward to continuing to develop alongside a young, talented group of players who I believe are capable of much more.
Thank you to the Chairman for the opportunity — I’m excited for the season ahead and to keep pushing the club in the right direction.
