'Bondy' previously had a short spell as a player following his release from Lincoln City where he completed his football scholarship. following his playing spell as a Trawlerboy he went on to play for near neighbours Kirkley & Pakefield and Waveney FC.

More recently, Chris has been involved in 1st team dugouts with Great Yarmouth and Harleston Town respectively. Prior to these senior roles, Chris was instrumental in the growth and success of the clubs Academy section so many of the up and coming players within our club will no doubt be pleased with this return.

On his return, Chris said "it is great to be back at the club after a few years away. I look forward to getting back involved and helping where I can to maintain step 3 status and moving the club forward off the pitch".

Manager, Andy Reynolds said, "Bondy coming back is great news for the club. I have seen 1st hand the impact he has had here previously with our infrastructure and now added to that he has more experience with the top end of clubs he will no doubt return and be an asset to us. Our club should always attempt to ensure we have the best local players, staff and volunteers and I am confident Chris is in this category. Conversations we have had about the direction we all want the team and club to move in have been really positive and I look forward to working with Bondy achieve this"

Chris' first action will be today as the team travel to AFC Stamford. Good luck to the everyone travelling.
