We are delighted to be saying good bye and good luck to Sonny Stokeld as he signs with Norwich City FC.

Sonny, son of former Trawlerboys favourite Jamie Stokeld, joined the Academy in the Summer and immediately shone as he represented the U10's. Sonny was moved up to the Under-11 group to ensure he was challenged before attracting interest from both Ipswich Town and Norwich City.

Following a successful trial with the Premier League Academy, Sonny was informed they would be taking him within their set up full-time.

Everyone connected with the Academy wishes Sonny good luck and hopes he enjoys the experiences he will get with Norwich.

Sonny becomes the 3rd player to leave the Centre of Excellence programme this season following Ethan Oldman (U16) signing for Colchester United and Teddy James (U13) signing for Ipswich Town.
