An all-Suffolk derby awaits Lowestoft Town as they prepare to return to action.
The Trawlerboys will be on their travels to west Suffolk tomorrow (Saturday) as they kickstart their festive fixtures.
After a rare weekend off last week, the busy festive and New Year period will see Lowestoft playing three Pitching In Isthmian League North Division matches in 14 days in December, and five league matches in 28 days next month.
It all starts with a trip away to face Newmarket Town tomorrow, Saturday, December 13.
Newmarket, who play at the Tristel Stadium, are currently in 13th position in the table a point and a place ahead of 14th-placed Lowestoft with one game in hand.
They have narrowly lost their last three league games.
Following the league match with The Jockeys tomorrow, another away game follows for Lowestoft on Saturday, December 20 as they travel to Bishop's Stortford to face 19th placed Takeley.
December's action then concludes with a mouthwatering festive treat of another all-Suffolk derby on Saturday, December 27.
The Trawlerboys will host table topping Felixstowe & Walton United (3pm KO) at Crown Meadow just two days after Christmas Day.
Five league matches are then currently scheduled for January - starting away at Norfolk rivals Wroxham on Saturday, January 3, before three home matches and another away trip follow.
Off the field in the past week, a former striker has made a welcome return - while defender George Chenery has returned to Brantham Athletic.
After a short spell with The Trawlerboys, the 18-year-old centre back has returned to Brantham following an approach by his former club.
Having featured predominantly at full back while George Barber had been injured, Blues boss Andy Reynolds said: "Thanks to George for his commitment and effort in his spell with us.
"At 18 he is on a journey to build up his experience in non-league and I understand the appeal of being able to play his primary position more regularly.
"He is a top young lad who will go on and be a success I'm sure."
In an early Christmas treat, striker Josh Harvey has made his return to The Trawlerboys.
A club spokesman said: "We’re delighted to confirm that Josh Harvey is back in Lowestoft for the Christmas break — and will be rejoining The Trawlerboys during his time home from his scholarship in the USA!"
