Two crucial home games in the space of four days await Lowestoft Town after their unbeaten run was ended over the past week.
Having gone four games unbeaten between February 15 and March 15 - with a win and three draws in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central Division - The Trawlerboys suffered back-to-back away defeats this week.
But a new signing could be set to boost The Blues as they aim to hit back ahead of the forthcoming games.
Andy Reynolds men had taken a third minute lead through Kyle Haylock as their trip to the West Midlands last Saturday to face high flying Halesowen Town started well.
But The Yeltz hit back - and three goals in the space of 13 minutes before half time sealed the win, as the home side returned to the top of the league.
Afterwards, Blues boss Reynolds said: "It was as tough as you would expect it to be when going to a top side in front of 1,500 fans.
"We had our moments early in the game but they forced their way in front and didn't look back.
"We now need to focus on putting another run of results together and showing the fight we have in us for the remaining games.
"Some of our points recently have been picked up against teams at the top end of the division so we need to take confidence in what we can do as a group added to the hunger we all have to stay in this league."
A Tuesday evening away trip to bottom of the table Biggleswade Town ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat, with the hosts scoring what proved to be a 65th minute winner.
A long throw in from the right hand side was flicked on at the front post to the six yard box, with Ellis Craven punching clear but the ball fell kindly to an on-rushing Waders player, whose sidefoot volley from the edge of the area was deflected past the despairing dive of Charlie Norman on the line.
Reynolds said: "It’s obviously a bitter blow to what we want to achieve, and I can't thank those who came along to support us enough.
"There was a collective disappointment from players, staff and supporters that we now need to turn in to a collective support and belief that we can still do enough.
"Some players spoke up after the game and we are all still behind a common goal, we have just allowed it to be out of our hands a little.
"We have to keep ourselves involved in the fight with big performances now - we need everyone, on and off the pitch, to chip in."
The Trawlerboys will be aiming for some home comforts tomorrow, with their final league match of the month on Saturday, March 29.
Ninth placed Spalding United visit the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium tomorrow (3pm KO), before further midweek action - as Lowestoft's final six league games in 25 days in April start next Tuesday, April 1 at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium once more with a home clash against 13th placed Banbury United (7.45pm KO).
With results elsewhere over the past week The Trawlerboys have slipped to 20th place in the table on 36 points.
AFC Sudbury are 19th, one point ahead but having played one more game, with 18th-placed Redditch five points ahead having also played one game more.
Barwell, in 17th place, are now six points ahead of Lowestoft with The Trawlerboys having one game in hand.
The action continues in April with an away trip to 14th placed Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday, April 5.
Lowestoft then host second placed Bedford Town on Saturday, April 12 before an away trip to fourth placed AFC Telford United - which has been brought forward as it is now played on Good Friday, April 18.
An eagerly awaited all-Suffolk derby follows on Easter Monday, April 21 at home to eighth placed Leiston, before the season ends on Saturday, April 26 away at 11th placed Alvechurch.
