Squad preparations for the new season have been boosted by the news that Rossi Jarvis will return for the new season. Rossi has agreed a 1 year extension with the club having rejoined last Summer. On the news of retaining Rossi, Godders said "I am delighted to have been able to keep Rossi with us for the new season. Having now worked with Rossi for a year and seeing first hand what he brings the dressing room and the team when on the pitch, it was a no brainer to open up discussions. I'm glad to have it done and look forward to having him for a full pre-season this year".

One player who won't be lining up for The Trawlerboys beyond pre-season is youngster Cion Wren. Cion is likely to link up with the squad for early pre-season and may feature in a game or two but with his impending move to University he will be seeking football away from The Amber Dew Events Stadium for next season.
Godders had high praise for Cion "He is the benchmark in terms of attitude and application for young players at our club but probably also for young players locally. I'm delighted he is pursuing his education and from what I understand about Cion academically, he will no doubt smash Uni. We will do our bit to help him find a club closer too Ipswich to continue his progression and I wish him every success". Everyone at the club wishes Cion the very best of luck with his education and his football and who knows, we may seem him again in the future.
