Following medical consultations we can confirm that Josh Hazell requires more surgery and a lengthy rehab before he is able to return to playing action.

A previous femur fracture led to issues within the knee cartilage that have worsened over time and consequently ended up sidelining the defender earlier this season. Josh now requires two further surgeries and a lengthy recovery and rehab period and subsequently more time away from the game but more significantly time off work. The club is committed to doing all we can to support Josh on his journey to recovery and will provide updates along the way.

As Josh is self-employed and this news impacts his professional life we will be welcoming donations that will be passed on to Josh to support him during his months off work. The collection will be at an upcoming home game and announced via the website and social media channels.
