Lowestoft Town made one change to their starting line-up as the injured Henderson was replaced by Hodd on the right wing. Cole returned from injury and started on the bench for the Suffolk side.

1-0 Met Police Goal (8 mins)
With Lowestoft losing possession up field the Met Police were quick to attack and with Orlando Smith showing good feet to shake off the Lowestoft defence, he fired past Glover for an early lead.

1-1 Lowestoft Town Goal (34 mins)
Blake-Tracy wins a good header up field to find Reed, who draws the keeper before finding Ryan Jarvis who calmly places the ball through a crowded box and into the open goal to level the match.

2-1 Lowestoft Town Goal (71 mins)
Some great work by Hodd to get to the right corner, ends with the midfielder pulling the ball back to pick up substitute Joel Glover and having been on the pitch for just five minutes, he finishes well to tuck the ball inside the post.

2-2 Met Police Goal (79 mins)
A Ty Smith free-kick from 25 yards smacks into the post but unfortunately for the Trawlerboys it rebounds to a Met Police shirt and with it being squared into the six-yard box, Charles bundles home an equaliser.
