Lowestoft Town shuffled their pack going into the game with Barker and Smith taking up the full-back roles, Blake-Tracy being moved up the field to left wing and Ryan Jarvis partnering Reed up top. Missing from the team sheet was the injured Cole and he was joined on the sidelines by Waite, who picked up an injury during the warm-up, having initially been named in the starting line-up.

2-0 Needham Market Goal - Penalty (85 mins)
A questionable penalty is awarded against Barker with Sands having been adjudged to have been brought down in the box and despite the referee waving play on, the linesman flagged for it. Up stepped Izzet to calmly convert and seal a very fortunate three points for Needham.
