Lowestoft Town went into the game with a thread-bare squad due to injuries and unavailability with Bammant, Reed, Fisk, Ryan Jarvis and Joel Glover all missing. Just the four subs were available for the Trawlerboys, of which two were goalkeepers (Josh and Jamie) and midfielder, Deeks was named but not 100% fit to play.

Substitute Ourtibour teed up Clayton on the edge of the area and the midfielder curled home a great effort over Jessup and into the net to silence the home crowd.

With the rain falling a corner slipped through the gloves of Jessup in the Lowestoft goal and with Chambers-Shaw on hand for the visitors, he struck through a crowded penalty area to double the score and end the cup dreams of the Trawlerboys.

Lowestoft Town now have to shake off the disappointment of being dumped out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle and turn attentions back to the league this Saturday, when they travel to Staines Town.
