Lowestoft Town will be aiming for some home comforts as they embark on a busy month of action ahead.
Four of the next six Southern League Premier Central Division games for The Trawlerboys over a 28-day spell between February 1 and March 1 will be at home.
It all starts with a tough test at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) as Andy Reynolds men host third placed Stratford Town (3pm kick off).
Lowestoft drew 1-1 away at the Warwickshire-based The Bards back in October as Kyle Haylock's sixth minute goal was cancelled out by Callum Ebanks' late equaliser.
The Trawlerboys - who remain in 18th-place in the table - will be aiming to bounce back after four successive defeats in January had followed back to back wins.
Last Saturday's 220-mile round trip to Hertfordshire ended in a 4-0 reversal at 14th placed Bishop's Stortford, as three early second half goals in a 15 minute spell after the interval sealed victory.
A midweek all-Suffolk derby will see 20th placed AFC Sudbury in town for the rescheduled league clash which had previously been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch on New Year's Day.
Tuesday evening's derby (February 4, 7.45pm KO) against AFC Sudbury comes ahead of an away trip to Harborough Town on Saturday, February 8 before back to back home games are due to end the month against Hitchin Town on Saturday, February 15 and Banbury United on Saturday, February 22.
The Trawlerboys suffered another defensive blow this week as it was confirmed following medical consultations that Josh Hazell requires more surgery and a lengthy spell of rehab before he can return.
A club spokesman said: "A previous femur fracture led to issues within the knee cartilage that have worsened over time and consequently ended up sidelining the defender earlier this season.
"Josh now requires two further surgeries, a lengthy recovery and rehab period and subsequently more time away from the game."
