It’s a very big few days for our clubs but what will the Bank Holiday weekend bring?

Bank Holidays in Non-League can mean only one thing. Football. And lots of it. But who will come out smelling of roses after this weekend’s double-header?

It might be early days, but AFC Rushden & Diamonds are already the talk of the town in the BetVictor Southern Premier Central – but can they extend their perfect start?

In-form Christopher Wreh and Stratford might have something to say about that, before Andy Peaks prepares his side for the visit of St Ives on Monday.

Hitchin Town are hurting after a 5-0 thumping last time out. Next up? Rushall Olympic who hit Leiston for six at the weekend.

The Pics are keeping pace with the leaders mainly thanks to the goals of Sam Whittall and Jonathan Letford – Monday sees Stratford at Dales Lane.

Tamworth are eyeing a spot back in the Vanarama National League North and bagged their first win at the weekend. The Lambs will be hoping to shoot up the table after games with Leiston then Hednesford.

Royston have been impressive and head to fellow quick starters Lowestoft on Monday, not before entertaining Coalville at Garden Walk first.

Misfiring Nuneaton Borough were fancied but have taken just a point up to yet. Jimmy Ginnelly wants a response against Needham Market, and then Coalville.

New boys Peterborough Sports are still looking for their first win. They’re in FA Cup action against Bugbrooke St Michaels before heading to Biggleswade Town.

Ryan Nesbitt and John Atherton helped Alvechurch blow away Hitchin to bag their first three points. Can they keep it going with a trip to Hednesford on Saturday before returning home for a clash with Redditch.

Ricky Johnson is the man in form for Banbury United who spend the bank holiday with home comforts – first against Kings Langley and then against Barwell.

Bromsgrove Sporting look right at home after promotion and can kick back on Saturday – the Rouslers are on FA Cup duty before a trip to Stourbridge.
