A Saturday morning pitch inspection is set to be held at the Sonning Finance Stadium ahead of Lowestoft's scheduled trip to face Biggleswade Town in the Southern League Premier Central Division.
Ahead of The Trawlerboys setting off on their travels for a 234-mile round trip to Bedfordshire tomorrow, The Waders confirmed this evening that a pitch inspection will take place at Biggleswade Town on Saturday morning at 9.45am.
It comes ahead of two scheduled games in four days over the next week as the busy spell of action continues for Lowestoft Town FC.
After Andy Reynolds men triumphed in an odd-goal of seven thriller away at Redditch United last Saturday, hopes of sealing a third successive Southern League Premier Central Division win were dashed last Tuesday night as The Trawlerboys slipped to a 0-3 defeat at home to Stamford AFC.
With talented defender Harry Barbrook's loan deal from Ipswich coming to an end last week - as he has now moved up the football pyramid for the remainder of the campaign - Lowestoft were boosted by a new defensive loan signing in midweek.
The 16th-placed Trawlerboys welcomed Jesse Ayoola from Ipswich Town as he joins on loan for the remainder of the season.
Having featured regularly for Ipswich's U21s this season, Ayoola played the whole game at centre back for Lowestoft in defeat to a strong Stamford AFC side, who triumphed with goals in the 32nd, 45th and 58th minutes on Tuesday.
After a fine 3-4 away win at Redditch last weekend, where Lowestoft recovered from being 2-0 and 3-2 down to triumph courtesy of goals from Joe Duffy, Gabe Overton, Joao Rangel and Owen Murphy, Blues boss Andy Reynolds said: "It was not one for the faint hearted, but I think come the end we are very good value for it.
"Fair play to the boys - we have asked them to do their jobs and they have delivered."
As it stands, and weather permitting, Lowestoft are now set to face two teams below them in the next two games - with the scheduled trip to Bedfordshire tomorrow to face bottom of the table Biggleswade Town.
The Trawlerboys are then set to host 20th placed Alvechurch - who are three points behind with two games in hand on Reynolds men - next Tuesday night (January 14) at the Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium, 7.45pm KO.
