Jamie Godbold has completed the line up of the Blues staff for the coming season by adding Mark Armitage to the ranks. Mark boasts England, Arsenal, Norwich, Southampton and Huddersfield Town as some of his former clubs before moving back to Lowestoft and taking up his current role as a lecturer at The University of Suffolk. Manager Jamie Godbold spoke of his delight with the appointment "Having Mark on board is fantastic news for us as a club, he lives in Lowestoft and knows the club and no doubt he will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that is hard to come by at our level. I hope he can influence and educate the players and the staff so collectively we can continue to make improvements this year. There is no hiding the fact that last year our injury record at times was not good, so to be able to actually bring someone in who will be able to contribute to any improvement to this was a no-brainer".

Mark will join up with the rest of Godders' staff this week as they put the finishing touches to their preparations for Hednesford.
