Preview ahead of home clash with Coalville Town

Lowestoft Town manager Jamie Godbold has hailed the importance of a “massive” midweek win.
After staging a fine comeback victory in defeating Kings Langley 2-1 at Crown Meadow on Tuesday night, Godbold admitted the players and management are keen to build on that success.
Lowestoft host fourth-placed Coalville Town in the league today, just three weeks after The Ravens swooped to a 4-2 victory in the FA Trophy first qualifying round.
Back then it was a game of two halves as the windy conditions caused havoc at Crown Meadow. A strong second-half showing saw Lowestoft battle back from 3-0 down to make it 3-2, but after hitting the bar and missing a penalty the visitors made them pay by scoring on the break in added on time to seal the win.
The Leicestershire side have lost just one league game this season, and while the Lowestoft players and management are well aware of “their capabilities”, they are intent on getting their season back on track.
Godbold said: “For sure there will be an element of us wanting to turn up and seek some revenge, and we know that we had a really good second half performance against them where we caused them problems – we are looking to do the same again.
“We need to carry on with the momentum of Tuesday’s win and take that into Saturday. We have something to build on and it should be a fantastic match.”
Victory today could potentially move The Trawlerboys up three places in the Southern Central Premier Division, and after falling behind against the run of play in midweek, Godbold was delighted with the response of his players.
He said: “It was a really good build-up leading to Jake Reed’s equaliser and then a typical Travis Cole goal from a set piece gave us the lead.
“We managed the game really well after that and it was a really pleasing win.
“After going behind and given the circumstances, it was massive.
“With the run we have been on, to get the three points to lift us out of the bottom three, it builds a bit of confidence and good momentum to take into Saturday.
“We have probably got the best squad we have had since I have been back and we had a good mix of experience and talent on the bench on Tuesday,” he added.
“Sometimes you make substitutions and they don’t come off, but I was really pleased with Rossi Jarvis and Louis McIntosh’s displays as they turned the game in our favour with the possession they had on the ball.”
