News on the comings and goings of last seasons squad

"I'm delighted that we have been able to sort a large amount of the group so quickly. This is obviously a long way from the start point last season and I hope it gives the supporters something to look forward to when the pre-season games start up in July"

Following on from the news that captain Travis Cole, full back Jack Wilkinson and midfielder Henry Pollock have signed new 2 year deals with the club, we can provide a more comprehensive update on last years squad and their plans for the coming season.

Already under contract for a minimum of one more year are;
Elvijs Putnins
Shaun Bammant
Andrew Fisk
Jake Reed
Connor Deeks

Agreed terms for the 19/20 season are;
Josh Curry
Jacek Zielonka
Adam Tann (Player/Coach)
Marcus Wilkinson
Fletcher Hedge

Delighted that so many of last years group will be staying with the club, manager Jamie Godbold said "I'm delighted that we have been able to sort a large amount of the group so quickly. This is obviously a long way from the start point last season and I hope it gives the supporters something to look forward to when the pre-season games start up in July".

Whilst Jamie continues discussions with other existing players, one player who won't feature next season is Armani Schaar. Armani failed to agree terms for the new season and has decided to seek his football away from The Amber Dew Events Stadium. Armani took to Twitter to say "Would like to thank Lowestoft Town FC for a really enjoyable time with them, a great club with great people".
Everyone at the club wishes Armani all the best for the new season and we will not forget 'that goal' to keep us at Step 3 at the end of the 17/18 season.

Talking about new arrivals, Godders said "We have identified a few players who we think can make us better and will see where conversations lead us with those. What has been pleasing is that my phone has actually been ringing with well established players wanting to have a discussion regarding Lowestoft, I can tell everyone that those calls were rare last year!".
