This Sunday will see the Lowestoft Ladies take on Ipswich Town in the semi-finals of the Suffolk FA Woman's Cup

The semi-final match this Sunday will be played at Woodbridge Town FC and Lowestoft will be looking to finally beat Ipswich Town, having lost to them in the final on two occasions over the past three season. Ipswich Town first beat the Lowestoft Ladies 6-1 in the final in 2011/12 and then followed that by handing Lowestoft a 5-1 defeat in 2012/13.

Ipswich Town ply their trade in the Woman's Premier League, South East Division One; which is the same level that Luton Town play, who Lowestoft memorably defeated in the second round of the Woman's FA Cup this season. The Lowestoft Ladies team have continued to take significant strides forward since those two defeats in the final and after drawing 1-1 with Ipswich Town in pre-season, it promises to be a much closer encounter this time around.
