The award ceremony took place this evening at Rookery Park Golf Club and Lowestoft Ladies Manager David Eastwood was joined by players Natasha Thomas, Paige Shorten, Broghan Scully, Zoe Cossey and Chloe Hoffman to delightfully accept the award.

It's been a fantastic year for the Lowestoft Ladies, gaining their third promotion in four years after winning every one of their 20 league matches to secure the Eastern Region Women’s Premier Division by a stunning 25 points. On top of this they threw in a cup win to make it a double winning season and they continue to show signs of going from strength to strength as the 2015/16 season approaches. A season in which David Eastwood's side now sit just two leagues away from dining at the top table of the ladies game – the Women’s Super League.

As a club we are very proud of our Lowestoft Ladies team, who are extremely delighted and honoured to have won this award tonight and would like to thank the Active Waveney Sports Awards for a wonderful evening.
