Lowestoft Town have brought in 18 year-old centre-back Travis Cole on loan from Ipswich Town.

Cole is a Lowestoft boy but has been at Ipswich Town Academy since he was in the U9's squad and has now been brought in by Ady Gallagher on an initial one month work experience loan at Lowestoft Town.

He became a schoolboy player with Ipswich Town before becoming a full academy player in July 2015, signing a two-year scholarship, before being offered a one-year extension to his scholarship, after having the 2015/16 season hampered by injuries.

As a club our policy is not to announce player arrivals until all paperwork is in place. However, this is expected to be finalised in the morning and will mean that Cole will be available for selection for the Lowestoft Town match at Billericay Town tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

We would like to thank Ipswich Town for making this loan move possible and everyone at Lowestoft Town would like to welcome Travis to the club.
