Lowestoft Town face Leiston at Portman Road on Wednesday evening, looking to retain the Suffolk Premier Cup.

A win for the Trawlerboys will see them bring the cup back to Crown Meadow for the thirteenth time in their history.

Lowestoft Town beat Whitton United 2-1 after extra time to win the cup last season and booked their place in this seasons final with a 3-2 extra time win over old rivals Bury Town. While Leiston booked their place in this season final with a 1-0 win over Needham Market. The two sides have met in the final before, back in 2006 when Lowestoft Town came out on top as 3-2 winners of a thrilling final.

Both sides will undoubtedly be looking to end the season on a high, with Leiston having dropped away from the Ryman Premier League play-off places after a bright start and Lowestoft Town suffering the bitter disappointment of relegation from the Vanarama National League North last weekend.

Points of note for supporters attending the game:-
