The best way to keep up to date with Lowestoft Town FC

My Favourite - Elvijs Putnins

7 months ago By Sean Galea-Pace

Throughout the season, different Lowestoft players will be quizzed on all their favourite things. This week, Elvijs Putnins steps into the hot seat.

Food - Would have to be chicken pasta with some peanut sauce!
Music - I like a few songs from Eminem.
TV Show - I used to watch Top Gear a lot. That was one of my favourites that I watched every day. One more would be Prison Break.
Hobby - I really enjoy playing hockey, I obviously haven’t played it in so long because of the weather. At home, we used to play every winter and I almost was better than I am at football. I also enjoy playing tennis.
Holiday Destination - Magaluf. I went there a few years ago and would like to go again.
Team - It would be AC Milan. Back in 2005 was when I started to watch football properly and that’s when Milan were very popular.
Moment - When I played for the national team’s U19s against Russia. We won 1-0 and no other Latvian team had ever beaten Russia at youth level so that was very special.
All-Time Player - I would go with Buffon and Zlatan. Buffon because I always looked up to him, as a goalkeeper. I love how he plays and trains. Zlatan because I read a book about him and it changed my view. I just love his charisma and the way he is as a person on and off the pitch.
Lowestoft team-mate - I would say Cruise and Freddie Westlake. Maybe Josh (Greenleaf) too. I usually talk to them three on the bench as I don’t get much game time at the moment.
Boots - Has to be the Adidas f50s. I really liked them when they came out and I’m still trying to find them again.

Matthew Reddy.

Where next?

My Favourite - Josh Greenleaf Throughout the season, different Lowestoft players will be quizzed on all their favourite things. This week, Josh Greenleaf steps into the hot seat.
Where are they now? – Danny Bloomfield Danny Cook caught up with former Blues forward Danny Bloomfield who joined the club in early 2010 and enjoyed just under a year at the club.
