Deeks was initially offered a contract with Lowestoft Town following a successfull trial at the start of the season. However, the player didn't feel the time was right for a move away from Great Yarmouth, where the talented midfielder has always been held in high regard.

The Trawlerboys have continued to keep tabs on Deeks since then and are now happy to announce that he's signed a contract with the club that will take him through to the end of the 2017/2018 season.

We would like to thank Great Yarmouth for their cooperation and support in aiding us to get the paperwork through and subject to everything being in order with the FA, Deeks will be available for selection in our next league game against AFC Fylde next Tuesday.
