Harvey Hodd has returned to Lowestoft Town from League One Fleetwood Town on a two month youth loan.

This will be the third spell with the Trawlerboys for the 19 year old, having originally joined Lowestoft a week after his 16th birthday in December 2011. However, after just one first team game for the blues he was snapped up by Norwich City's Academy, where he continued his development and earned a cup winners medal in the FA Youth Cup won by Norwich City against Chelsea in 2013.

Hodd was, however released by Norwich in the close season and whilst searching for the right opportunity to win a professional contract, he returned for a second spell at Lowestoft Town. His stay was short-lived though with a great opportunity coming his way, seeing the talented midfielder join the development squad at League One Fleetwood Town in December 2014.

After impressive performances for the Cod Army's development side, Fleetwood Town extended his contract to run until the summer of 2016 and have this week agreed to him returning to Lowestoft Town on loan.

Speaking about the return of Hodd, first team manager Ady Gallagher said; "We're low on squad numbers and especially in midfield, so we would like to thank Fleetwood Town for this opportunity to have Harvey rejoin us on loan. He's a good, young player and we know from previous spells with us that he has the right personality. He will certainly add quality to the squad and myself and everyone at Lowestoft Town would like to welcome him back to the club".

Subject to the paperwork being approved by the FA, Harvey Hodd will be available for inclusion in the Lowestoft Town squad for this Saturday's FA Trophy game against St Albans City, having been given clearance by Fleetwood Town to play in the FA Trophy.
