Form:-
AFC Fylde (6th) – Last four league results; LWDW
Leading Scorer (League) – Dion Charles (3)
Lowestoft Town (9th) – Last four league results; WWLL
Leading Scorer (League) – Jack Reed (3)

AFC Fylde currently sit on seven points having won two, drawn one and lost one in their four games so far. They have conceded six goals during this time but have also scored six, with promising young winger, Dion Charles scoring three goals in the last two games. Their loss came in the shape of a 3-0 defeat on the opening day of the season away to Solihull Moors. This was followed by a 2-0 home win over Hednesford Town, a 2-2 draw at home to Gainsborough Trinity in which Dion Charles got a brace of goals and then most recently (Wednesday evening) a 2-1 win at Bradford Park Avenue.
Lowestoft Town sit just a point behind their opponents after registering two wins and two loses from their opening four matches. They have scored five goals during these matches, conceded just three and kept two clean sheets; which is a great achievement considering they have a patched up defence due to injuries and a lack of defensive depth in their squad at present. When looking into the results and performances, Lowestoft have started the season better than what the two wins and two loses reflects. They have played all three of the relegated sides from last season's Conference Premier and with the exception of a relatively poor second half against Worcester City, they have displayed some great football in all of these matches. Last time out they lost at home to Nuneaton Town by a single goal in a 1-0 defeat but deserved a point against one of the sides who must be fancied to be at the sharp end of the table for most of the season.

Previous Meeting:-

The two sides met at Kellamergh Park on Sunday 4th January last season in a match that saw Lowestoft Town put in a phenomenal work rate and take plenty of positives from the game, despite a 3-1 defeat. AFC Fylde raced into a two goal lead after just thirteen minutes and looked the better of the sides in the first half but Lowestoft Town put in a fantastic second half and took a level of confidence away from the game that saw them put a great run of results together shortly afterwards and until the end of the season to see them safe.

Club History:-
AFC FYLDE
can trace their roots back to the early 1900s, but it was an amalgamation between Wesham FC and Kirkham Town in the late 1980s that really set the club on the path to its present stature, and silverware winning days as Kirkham & Wesham FC.

The club took steps to secure their long term future by asking the authorities to sanction a change of name for the club to AFC Fylde in time for the 2008-09 campaign.

In 2014/15, AFC Fylde finished their first season in the Conference North in second place with 85 points, losing to Guiseley in the subsequent play-off semi-final. Their top scorer was Danny Rowe with 31 goals, with Richie Allen and Danny Lloyd both scoring at least 20 goals in all competitions. Josh Langley won both Player’s Player of the Year award and Supporters Player of the Year award, while Dion Charles took Young Achiever of the Year award.
