Luton Town may have won 2-1 but after showing their League Two credentials for the first fifteen minutes, Lowestoft Town settled into the game and it was an even encounter throughout with plenty of positives to be taken from the game for the Trawlerboys.

Goals:-
Luton Town Goal (34 mins)
A tug on Mitchell's shirt on the touchline was allowed to go by the linesman and the resulting cross from the right saw Tiryaki get enough on his header to loop it over Garnham and into the far corner for 1-0

Luton Town (56 mins)
A ball in from the left saw Jessup start to come for it but with him stopping and being in a poor position, Tiryaki grabbed his second in identical fashion; heading over Jessup and into the goal for 2-0

Lowestoft Town (75 mins)
Spanish trialist, Coe was put in down the right by Mason and his cross saw Bammant get a shot away close in, with Woods-Garness latching onto the resulting rebound to steer home from three yards for 2-1

Gt Yarmouth trialist Connor Deeks came very close to snatching an equaliser for the blues but overall it was a very positive day for the blues, who now take on Cambridge United on Tuesday night at the Crown Meadow (7:45pm kick-off)
