Norwich City RDP 1-1 Lowestoft Town
Lowestoft U19's drew 1-1 with Norwich City RDP and gained their first point of the season in a very good display.
Lowestoft U19's were back on the road as they faced a tough Norwich City side. The game started with Norwich having most of the ball but Lowestoft were defending excellently and the hosts were beginning to get frustrated. With a few minutes to half time, Cory Roskell played a sublime ball into the box where Cion Wren cooly volleyed it past the keeper.
Second half was most of the same with Lowestoft having chances to get a second but it wasn’t to be and on the 70th minute Norwich’s pressure paid with them winning and converting a penalty. The game opened up with the last 10 minutes to play, chances fell to both sides but with none were converted as the game finished in a very entertaining 1-1 draw. A good point for the young Trawlerboys who fought hard and deservedly ended up with a point.
