'Matty' came to the club full of promise as a Maltese U19 International and at times has really grabbed games by the scruff of the neck and shown to be an exceptional player. This year Matthew knows he will have to get to grips with the more physical matches if he is to progress further. Matthew is to miss some of the Pre-season as he returns to Malta to train with the national side, possibly a first for the club to have a youth international.
