Know anyone fixated on football looking for the dream post-16 option? Lowestoft Town's scholarship program might be the move for them. Completely free of charge for 16-18 year olds, players study for two BTEC level 3 diplomas in sport and play regular football every week. This means potential opportunities to break into the first team, while still keeping the door open to other paths such as University and apprenticeships.

Current scholar and Lowestoft Town player Cion Wren said, "The scholarship program creates an opportunity for young players to develop and push towards a high standard of first team football. This is balanced out with education, gaining a BTEC sport diploma which allows you to go down many other pathways. Already through the program, I've made nine appearances for the first team whilst getting distinctions in my education".
