Trawlerboys sign ex-Norwich City defender

4 months ago By Sean Galea-Pace

The Trawlerboys are pleased to confirm the signing of 22-year-old centre-back Reiss Awuah.

The former Leicester and Norwich City youth player links up with management duo Jamie Godbold and Andy Reynolds once again after playing under them at Wroxham last season.

Reiss said: "I'm very pleased to get started and crack on, my aim is to get a full season under my belt and be as consistent as I can be. I enjoyed playing under Jamie at Wroxham so it wasn't a difficult decision to come to the club."

Godbold added after completing the signing of the 6'3" defender: "We're very pleased to bring him to the club. He's athletic, composed and flexible in terms of the positions he can play. I'm confident that Reiss will be a great addition to the squad."
