The club are pleased to announce the signing of 18-year-old goalkeeper Billy Johnson.

The 6'2" former Norwich United keeper becomes the third signing this week after Reiss Awuah and Josh Curry became Trawlerboys earlier on in the week.

"I'm very pleased to sign for Lowestoft Town. I feel this is a good step for my progression; it's a good club and obviously local which is ideal.

"My aim for the season personally is to progress myself as a person and as a goalkeeper whilst trying to play as many games as possible."

Manager Jamie Godbold added: "Billy is a local lad who has had plenty of offers from other teams in the area.

"He has loads of potential and fits the bill in terms of wanting to recruit young, hungry and local players. Billy will give Elvijs competition and I think that will help push each other to do well."
