The club are pleased to announce the signing of 25-year-old defender Josh Curry.

Curry, who played for Mildenhall Town last season, becomes the latest arrival at The Amber Dew Events Stadium following a busy week of signings.

Curry said after putting pen to paper: "I'm delighted to have joined Lowestoft. When the opportunity came up, I had to take it. I felt I had a good season in the league below last year and felt I proved myself so when the opportunity came up to play in the league above; I couldn't turn it down.

"The set-up really convinced me to come to the club. Godders background has swayed me because he's won the league before, I like his style of football and it's a good opportunity to prove myself in this league.

"Last year, I played centre-back and left of three at the back; I also played left-back at the start of the season too. I started my career based in centre-midfield and the manager has said that he wants to utilize me in midfield and at the back so I feel I'm quite versatile."

Assistant Manager Andy Reynolds added: "I'm really pleased that Josh has agreed to join us. He was one that very early on we identified as someone we would like to bring to the football club that could do well at this level.

"We have been very clear as to what type of player we want; local, mobile, young and hungry. Josh fits that profile so hopefully he will have an impact for us this season."
