Josh Dawkin is a skillful midfielder who started out at Norwich City, making appearances in 2009 against Gillingham and Swindon Town in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the age of 17.

Since then he has been on loan at Kettering Town and Cambridge United during 2011/2012 and signed for Braintree Town in July 2012.

Although born in England, he has qualified for Wales through his mother and has been capped at Under-17 and Under-19 level for Wales.

On speaking to Craig Fleming; he said that they noticed he had been made available for loan and with the busy period coming up and the squad still seeing players sidelined by injury, it allows us to bolsters the squad. It also gives us options in midfield, as Josh can play on the left or right in midfield and can also play up top.
