Lowestoft Town are pleased to announce the signing of muscular forward Hakeem Araba from Whitehawk.

Hakeem Araba has signed Ryman League forms to join Lowestoft Town Football Club.

Araba is a muscular and powerful forward who has featured against Lowestoft on two occasions this season, when lining up against the Trawlerboys for East Thurrock and Whitehawk.

Hakeem broke into Peterborough’s reserve side as a 16 year old before moving on to Dagenham & Redbridge. His career was put on hold for a season due to injury but after short spells at Bishop’s Stortford and Billericay Town in the autumn of 2010, he helped East Thurrock United to the Ryman Division One North title. Since then he has played for Bromley, re-joined East Thurrock and most recently been applying his trade at Whitehawk.

In his spell at East Thurrock this season he scored 7 goals in 17 appearances and most recently for Whitehawk he scored 4 goals in 17 appearances but with him dropping down the pecking order, Lowestoft were able to capture him before the league deadline.

Everyone at Lowestoft Town Football Club wishes Hakeem all the best, in being part of our push for promotion.
