Over the past few years when Lowestoft Town Football Club have been playing away, more and more Trawlerboys have been seen trekking up the A12 to Emerald Park.

At the same time old business colleagues Gary Keyzor and Alan Gordon, now both Chairmen of their respective football clubs, re-united and discussed ways of forging better links between the two clubs. The first idea was a two club scarf that boasts both team’s colours and is aptly named 'GORLESTOFT'.

These can be purchased from either clubs shop or online via the online shop at a great price of just £8.00.

Lowestoft Chairman Gary Keyzor stated; "I'm hoping that this is the start of both clubs being able to work closely together both on and off the field, as well as encouraging both sets of fans to follow each other where possible. A pre-season friendly will be organised at Emerald Park with a date to be agreed once the current season has finished".

Gorleston Chairman Alan Gordon was equally delighted, stating; "We at Gorleston FC are delighted with the alliance between both clubs. Gary & I have been friends for many a year and we felt that we could work together in football terms to enhance both clubs in the region. We see it of being a great benefit to both clubs and we look forward to closer links in the future".
He went on to say "It is always a delight to host the Trawlerboys when their first team are on their travels and i would encourage the Green Army to visit Crown Meadow also. This doesn’t mean that any supporter has changed their alliance as i have been reminded many times by the Trawlerboys when our reserves or Under 18’s are playing each other".
