Lowestoft Town Football Club is pleased to announce that Gary Keyzor has agreed to re-join the club for a second spell as chairman.

Gary, who stepped down last September due to work-related reasons, remained on the board last season after calling time on a decade at the helm.

However, on the eve of the new season, Gary has decided to return to his previous role on an initial 12-month period.

“I am thrilled to be able again to find the time to take on the chairman’s role. As previously noted I had to reluctantly step down due to work related issues,” Gary said.

“There are lots of exciting things happening at the Amber Dew Events Stadium this season. New management, new players, new board members, a new league and new partnerships to work with such as Waveney FC and The Saturday Gig.”

“I guess I’ve never really been away but following last night’s board meeting I have agreed to take on the role for an initial 12 month period.”

The Trawlerboys head to Halesowen in the Southern League Central’s curtain-raiser in what is also new management duo Jamie Godbold and Andy Reynolds’ first league match in charge.
