As a show of unity following last weekend tragic events and as part of the Football Family to which we all belong, the players and the match officials will be joining together to show respect to all those who lost their lives and have been affected by the Shoreham Airshow tragedy last weekend.
This was a tragedy which sadly included the loss of life of Matthew Grimstone and Jacob Schilt who were both on their way to play for Worthing United FC that very afternoon.
We ask all supporters on the day to stand and on the referees whistle to observe the one minute silence. Thank you.

Lowestoft Town head into the game after the disappointment of last Saturday's 600 mile round trip to AFC Fylde, in which a 95th minute goal deep in stoppage time cruelly robbed them of what would have been a thoroughly deserved point. It was a bitter blow for the blues who in their last two games have performed well enough to deserve more than the zero points they've received.
Confidence and team spirit, however is high with the team playing some good football and hoping that their just rewards will start to come. It should also not be forgotten that so far the blues have faced the three sides who came down from the Conference Premier and one of this season's bookmakers favourites, AFC Fylde in the first five games. Goals have dried up in recent matches but importantly chances haven't and it's just a matter of time before this temporary lull in finding the net is brought to an end by the Trawlerboys. So far at home this season it's been a 3-0 win and a narrow and unfortunate 1-0 defeat.
Corby Town are one of the leading scorers in the league at present, having scored twelve goals in their opening five matches. Ten of those goals have come in the shape of five-a-piece for both the teenage striker Tshimanga and midfielder Sammons. In their five goal hauls, Sammons can boast a double against both Chorley and Curzon Ashton, while Tshimanga scored a sensational nine minute hat-trick against Hednesford Town. At the other end the newly promoted champions of the Southern League Premier Division have conceded on eight occasions so far. They are currently unbeaten with two wins and three draws and last time out they won 2-0 at home to winless Bradford Park Avenue. So far on the road this season they have drawn 2-2 at Curzon Ashton and 3-3 at Hednesford Town; so a goalless draw seems unlikely in this match!

Previous Meeting:-
This is the first time the two clubs have played.

Club History:-
CORBY TOWN
were formed in 1948 and are the second club to represent the town, following Stewarts & Lloyds Corby, who were formed 13 years earlier in 1935. The club’s nickname ‘The Steelmen’ derives from the old steelworks that were in Corby.

In April 2014 it was announced that a local consortium of seven businessmen headed by Paul Glass had agreed a deal to purchase the club and save it from the threat of administration. Stevie Noble was appointed as the chairman and Tommy Wright was given sole charge of the first team, with Andrew Wilson departing.

In his first year in charge of the side Tommy Wright led his team to the Southern League Premier Division Championship. The Steelmen secured the title and promotion back to the Conference North with a dramatic 3-2 win on the final day of the season against Poole Town who had led the division by one point going into that fixture. Spencer Weir-Daley scored the winning goal for Corby with just nine minutes remaining.
