This Friday, Crown Meadow will be hosting a charity match for Prostate UK with plenty of LTFC, KPFC and Eastern Counties legends taking to the field.

Last year’s match took place at Walmer Road and we’re delighted to be hosting this worthy event at Crown Meadow this season.

Across the UK, Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men with over 47,000 being diagnosed every year (that's 130 men every day). Every hour one man dies from prostate cancer and 1 in 8 men will get it during their lifetime. Over 330,000 men are living with and after prostate cancer and your kind donations to this charity can help improve those figures and continue development in treatment. For more information, please go to http://prostatecanceruk.org/

The charity match on Friday evening will see MG Legends take on KPFC Legends. So if you fancy reliving those memories of a thumping headed clearance by Greg Crane, a goal rush by Gazza McGee or many other great memories; then get down to Crown Meadow this Friday.

The match promises to be an entertaining affair but the real importance of the night is to raise as much money as we can for this worthy charity. So please donate kindly and purchase raffle tickets on the night, as there are some great prizes on offer to be won!!
If you can't make it on the night, you can still donate by going to https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mglegends17

The MG Legends side will be made up of a group of Eastern Counties players from the past, many of which are ex LTFC players. While the KPFC Legends side will be made up of Kirkley & Pakefield players.
