This coming season there will be a change to the football structure within the club in order to improve the quality and progression for young players

As part of an ongoing desire to improve the quality of our teams and to create a clear progression route for young players, first team manager Ady Gallagher is conducting a review of the clubs football structure.

It has been decided that we will no longer enter an U18's team in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League. However, with effect from next season the education program development squad will play in the Football Conference Youth Alliance League (U19's).
The Football Conference Youth Alliance is open to clubs from Step 4 upwards and covers the entire country, currently hosting clubs ranging from AFC Bournemouth and Southampton in the south to Gateshead in the north. Last season there were 102 clubs split over 9 divisions with a league cup as well.
There is an AGM set for 25th June at Kidderminster Harriers FC and as of yet the makeup of the divisions has not been decided upon but Lowestoft Town are likely to be in the Essex/Herts Division with the likes of AFC Sudbury, Bishop's Stortford, Boreham Wood, Braintree Town, Brentwood Town, Burnham Ramblers, Histon, Hitchin Town, Romford, Thurrock, Tilbury and West Ham United.
Games are played on Wednesday afternoons and players can be registered once they have reached the age of 16 but must be under 19 on 31st August 2015 to be eligible.

On the Reserve team front, they will continue to play in the Thurlow Nunn Reserve League and as part of the review Ady has decided that he would like to advertise the role of Reserve team manager.
Applicants are requested to email the club with details of their suitability for this important role and they should include a brief outline of why they believe they are the best candidate to oversee the progression of our young players.
It should be noted that the current Reserve team management have been asked to reapply for the position following this criteria.

Applicants should email info@lowestofttownfc.co.uk their interest by 5th June 2015.
